Joanna is surely one the most versatile musical performers to be found anywhere. Joanna Robbins Hayes grew up on the Pensacola Little Theater stage and spent countless hours studying dance, piano, and vocal performance from some of Pensacola’s finest instructors. At 19, she danced with First City Dance Theater, Pensacola’s first professional dance company, before heading to Los Angeles, California and Nashville, Tennessee to study acting.  Joanna has continued to express her creativity and talent on the stage and behind the scenes. She has brought extraordinary life to roles such as the title role in Victor/Victoria, Anita in West Side Story, The Baker’s Wife in Into the Woods, and Mary Magdalene in Jesus Christ Superstar. Her backstage work includes choreographing shows for PLT as well as the Pensacola Children’s Chorus. Joanna took on the role as dance teacher at N.B. Cook Elementary School of the Arts in Pensacola where she continues to share her passion for dance and performance. When not performing, rehearsing, or teaching, Joanna loves spending time with her amazing family and enjoying the area’s beautiful beaches.
